Upgrading to AX 2012 R3 CU13
Recently I got a chance to see upgrade from AX 2012 Feature pack version to AX 2012 R3 CU13. I have seen previous upgrades till R3 CU12 but there was nothing interesting to write about.
But this time post upgrade, instead of upgrade checklist, D365FO Data Upgrade checklist popped up. This made project team confused and they called me to look into it. What I found out that actual code/data upgrade checklist doesn't have its usual menu item in AOT.
Few more digging down, revealed that the menu item (SysCheckList_UpgradeCode) is now a 'Display' type menu item instead of normal 'Action' type menu item.
So if you are upgrading to AX 2012 R3 CU13, all you have to do post running upgrade/importing model is ignore 'D365FO data upgrade' checklist and instead open normal checklist from AOT display menu item.
Happy DAXing :)

I am curious to find out what blog platform you're using? I'm experiencing some small security issues with my latest site and I would like to find something more secure. Do you have any suggestions?best supplements on the market
