Edit existing methodology in Dynamics LCS

Methodology includes phases & their task which need to be followed for a implementation project. It is based upon previously successfully implemented projects. Thus providing more predictable & repeatable implementation.

Easiest way to create a new methodology is to choose an existing methodology and edit it for your needs. Create a dummy project in LCS with the methodology you want to edit. Open the project and click on ellipsis in top right on phases. Select edit methodology.

 

 

Add/edit/delete the information in the methodology. Then select ‘Save to collection’, provide a name to your methodology and save. Now this new methodology can be used for creating new projects.
